The city of Dubai, located on the southeast coast of Persian Gulf in the United Arab Emirates, has  turned up as one of the globally prominent cities in the world and heavily influences significant issues   important ln the Arab world.  Regarded as the Las Vegas of the Middle East, the city brings in tourists looking for fun, cultural attractions, and luxury.

Dubai’s economy  4  flew into the sky with the discovery of oil, which has brought in higher and higher revenues since 1960. This continued boom has fostered the growth of businesses, skyscrapers, roads, and parks. Recently, however, oil reserves have been depleting rapidly; thus, there has been  5  a development of an interest in other areas such as tourism, real estate, financial services, and airlines.

Retail has become one the prime strategies of the government to ensure a constant flow of cash into the emirates. With more than 70 shopping centers,  6  the biggest source of local jobs, the city has made retail shopping the biggest attraction to tourists. Luxury brands and local  boutiques eager to capitalize on the demand, have opened multiple locations that feature the very latest offerings. Among the most popular items to shop  for are for are designer handbags, jewelry, and shoes.

Another main attraction is the architecture. Architectural innovation and a boom in the construction industry has enabled Dubai to build some of the tallest buildings in the world. The greatest display of the city’s technological capability is the Burj Khalifa, or the Khalifa Tower. The tower reflects an Islamic style of architecture and  9  accounts for being the tallest building of the world.

One of the most recent endeavors is the city’s Miracle Garden, which covers more than 72,000 square meters. The garden holds 45 million flowers and employs  10  technology to reuse water through the means of drip irrigation.
